Architectural Photography – Bathroom Portfolio

I had a prospective client ask to see some more of my photographs of small spaces – primarily bathrooms and kitchens – to see if we would be a good fit working together. To be honest, I wasn’t sure that I had photographed that many bathrooms, because they’re rarely the feature of a design, but I was pleasantly surprised when I dug through my archives. It was fun having the photographs trigger memories of the individual shoots, the amazing designers I’ve had the pleasure of working with and their fascinating clients that you occasionally run into on site. I never thought I’d have a top-down lesson on currency trading, exchange rates and inflation from a World Bank economist all while photographing a bathroom. It just made it awkward when I had to close the door on him to get the shots.
